OUR COMPANY:
Deep Present Stories provides a new place for writers of short fiction to publish and sell their stories online. Writers submit stories to be evaluated by our reviewing team; those that meet our quality standards will be added to our catalog. Readers can search our catalog and purchase stories, which will be available at any time, in multiple formats, in their personal library. Writers receive a percentage of each sale, which grows as sales of their story increase. Because we believe that artists shouldn't be dependent on anyone except their audience, our site will always be advertisement free.
Our core team is supported by a network of reviewers who help to evaluate the submissions we receive. We have established a set of quality standards which determine which stories we publish, replacing the traditional editorial process. Over time we will be enhancing our website to include sophisticated catalog browsing, reader and writer communities, improved mobile functionality, more download options, and an automated submission and review system. Our vision is to provide a place for writers to have an audience and for readers to have a source of short reading experiences.
